Robert Crowder and Company undertook a major project during the summer of 2005, that involved the wallcovering of the Grand Ballroom in the Venetian Hotel, Resort, and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The project required the designing and production of custom wallcoverings for the massive Grand Ballroom and surrounding prefunction areas including 500 double faced 25’ tall partitioned doors.

In addition to the manufacturing, Robert Crowder and Company was awarded the designing responsiblities for the entire project. The design team, led by Chief Designer Lawrence Hooker, submitted several designs for each of the different areas of the hotel. The majority of the designs were created specifically for this project, while a small hand full of designs were modified versions of existing designs.

At completion this project used approximately 25,000 yards of wallcovering which included the custom partition doors, and all the walls inside the Grand Ballroom plus several corridors throughout the hotel.
